WHERE'S THE GOOD PIE?
We're building a database of pies worth knowing about, starting in Australia and the USA.
Search by location and pie style, or tell us about one we need to investigate. It's difficult work, but somebody has to eat them.

Ingredients, methods, techniques, photos and all the useful stuff. No 1,800-word story before you discover how much flour you need.
2021–2025
A LOT OF PIE HAPPENED HERE.
Proof of Pie began as a bake-to-order business in December 2021, grew into café supply and then opened a physical café in March 2024.
We baked a lot of pies along the way. The café closed in June 2025, but fortunately we took a ridiculous number of photos.

WE ONCE WENT TO AMERICA TO RESEARCH PIE. YES, REALLY.
In 2019, Proof of Pie went to the USA in search of American pie. There were bakeries. There were road trips. There was research. There was quite a lot of pie.
