  • The Adnyamathanha People of the Flinders Ranges call Quandong Urti. The Wiradjuri people of New South Wales use the name guwandhang from which the name quandong was adapted. Other indigenous names include: wolgol (Noongar, South Western Australia), gutchu (Wotjobaluk, Western Victoria), wanjanu or mangata (Pitjantjatjara, Uluru), and goorti (Narungga) [1]
  • You can get some of the best Urti (Quandong) pie in the Flinders Ranges.
  • There is a variety of Urti (Quandong) that grows in rainforests in Queensland and New South Wales that is blue.
